Hello my dear Students!!!
You know computers are really necessary in our lives nowadays. Who can live whithout one????
And there are some things we must know about computers and web sites when we are applying for a job. This is something that happened to Mr. Taylor.
What you have to do now is:
1. Go to Randall's Blog (at the links part) and click on the Listening Quizzes section on the Medium Column.
2. Go down and click on the last listed listening activitiy "World of Computers", a new window will be opened.
3. Do the three listening activities there. ok???
This exercise must be done individually (just like the others ok???)
4. Write your comments on this blog trying to answer the following question:
What would you do if you were Mr. Tylor?
(Explain your answers)

Well If I would be like Mr Taylor I first will investigate about the job and the skills that it ask for. Because that company was looking for someone who knows how to create software, not someone who confuse it with coffe.... XD

ResponderEliminarWell, I think Mr. Tylor was a little distracted...¬¬ first should ask for information about the job and then if can not use computer, or not known to be required for such work, then you register in some intensive courses the computer....^^

haha, If I were Mr. Taylor i would investigate about the kind of work that the company requires before making ridiculous xD! I would search an appropiate job for me and my capacity and abilities first before doing an interview with this company ;D
ResponderEliminar...i completely agree with my partners, but if i were mr. Taylor in that situation there´s no other choice, so i probably start to convince him to giveme a chance to work and then if it doesnt work just say thanks and go...(stop sayin´nonsense things)....

ResponderEliminarFirst to be informed about the work was the important thing and if one was filling the requirements to obtain the work it would be the simplest thing.
Of course the Mr. Tyalor is slightly imprudent, disorganized and idler. Then exchange my attitude, my way of acting and working, maybe to obtain the employment.

we agree with the other fellow, and yet our opinion is that Mr. Tylor should take courses in computing or apoyarce skilled people and hermes!

ResponderEliminarIf I were Mr. Taylor I would probably contact with my lawyer for sue the company where I had the interview, because they record my voice without my agreement and then upload the file in a web page where all can hear me, laugh of me and hurt my feelings.
Furthermore sue them for make an employment application with confusing and wrong information
